Sports council organised NTPC Ramagundam cricket premier League 2021 on 24th November 2021. Total 6 teams were formed based on players auctions. Each team has a director & mentors from the GM & AGM level.

There are 6 teams part of the Ramagundam Premier League whose names are inspired by historical monuments in Telangana state:

Basara blasters
Charminar challengers
Golconda giants
Ramappa royals
Sagar sizzlers
Thousand Thunders

Total 114 players are participating in this mega tournament. Shri Sunil Kumar, CGM (Ramagundam & Telangana) inaugurated the first match of the tournament which was between Sagar sizzlers vs Thousand Thunders.

the whole tournament will be in a league format in which the top 4 teams will qualify for the qualifiers and eliminator stage.
